This website provides a comprehensive, searchable list of student grants and fellowships funded and/or administered by Yale. These grants and fellowships provide funding for a variety of activities both in the U.S. and abroad for undergrad, graduate and professional students with a wide range of fields of interest. These include:

  • formal coursework and language study abroad
  • research projects, thesis-focused, lab-based, independent, etc.
  • internships and practicum experiences
  • community and public service
  • dissertation and pre-dissertation field research.

These activities will broaden your Yale education, expose you to experiences only available outside the classroom, and afford you occasions to experiment and challenge your abilities.

Identifying potential funding sources is only one step in garnering support for your plans. Be sure to take advantage of faculty and staff who can advise you individually as you pursue various grants and fellowships throughout your years at Yale. They can also advise you about outside funding opportunities that are not included in this database.

As of July 1, 2013, the Yale Student Grants & Fellowships database has moved to a new system. Search grants »
